Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered pulled from iOS over bug

An unfixable bug has led to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered being pulled from the iOS store. The in-app purchase mechanic saw some changes, which led to the bug.

On Twitter (via VGC), the iOS version of the game is going out of service. In a blog post, it stated that only those who did in-app purchases from January 2024 and onward are applicable for refunds. If that sounds like you, you should contact its support team by August 31, 2025.

We regret to announce that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is no longer available for iOS.

Those who have made in-app purchases on this platform in January 2024 or later can request refunds.

The bug people were facing before the closure basically refuses to let specifically iOS users access DLC content they paid for. From the sound of it, Square Enix did attempt to fix it, but weren’t able to, so the version is down and unlikely to return.

As it stands, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered is still available for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
