Compile Hearts and Idea Factory partnered to create Villion: Code, a brand new school RPG. The developers, including Kouji Okada, have confirmed the new RPG’s release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 on June 25, 2026.
The developers revealed a batch of students as protagonists within Academy City through the distribution website. The last of mankind faces a massive crisis with the city trapped in a mysterious bubble and invaded by monsters called GEMs. With hope fading away, the students are forced to face their karma and investigate the mastermind behind the events in Sankara Spacetime, an otherworldly depths transformed from Academy City.
