Hitman Switch 2 performance fix is on the way

Hitman: World of Assassination developer, IO Interactive, is well-aware of performance issues on the Nintendo Switch 2 and will be looking at remedying it with a patch this summer. Issues include stuttering and frame rate problems.

According to VGC, franchise director Jonathan Lacaille confirmed the fix is in the works, but stopped short of confirming when the fix will drop exactly. If we had to guess, it’ll probably be spread around a couple of different patches, as we all know when a game is patched, it always runs the risk of that patch introducing new bugs.

“So for Hitman, the team is working on some of those performance issues right now, and they are addressing it over the summer.”

Additionally, he noted IOI working on Hitman’s Switch 2 release benefited the upcoming 007: First Light.
