Bloober Team has finally announced Layers of Fear: The Final Masterpiece Edition coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on December 19, 2025. It won’t just include Layers of Fear and Layers of Fear 2, but also every DLC expansion like The Inheritance and The Final Prologue.
It’s been confirmed via Nintendo Life that the Nintendo Switch 2 port will include features from the previous Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition, enhancing the Layers of Fear experience with HDR visuals, ray tracing, and dynamic lighting. The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 version will provide more exclusive additions like Joy-Con integration, native motion controls, and even touchscreen input. The developers will continue to introduce more immersive horror in the modern market for the near future.
