Lies of P game director “honored” to be compared to Bloodborne

Soulslike Lies of P has been compared to Bloodborne a lot and game director Jiwon Choi is very honored by that. It also motivates the team to keep up the same expectations fans have.

In an interview with VGC, Choi expressed what an honor it is since Neowiz has a great deal of respect for FromSoft’s games, including Bloodborne, which many feel is among the best.

โ€œFirstly, it is an honour, because we have a lot of respect for those games. And second, it motivates us because we respect those games and those comparisons lead to an expectation from our fans.โ€

Luckily, Neowiz — unlike Sony and Bloodborne — aren’t starving its fans, with its first DLC, Overture, slated for this summer as well as a sequel in the works, which rumors say could be open world.
