Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP nabs a late September release

The re-release of the cult hit, Lollipop Chainsaw — Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP — is heading our way this September. It was once described as a remake before turning into a remaster.

Courtesy of a recently released trailer, we now know the game has a September 25 release date. The game itself introduces some quality-of-life changes and features, like reduced load times, better Combo Actions, and an auto-fire mode for the Chainsaw Blaster, but the story itself is still the same.

RePOP was initially revealed in 2022 with a release in 2023, but that didn’t pan out and it was delayed into this year. The game will release digitally first with a physical release following afterwards. Developer Dragami Games will share more info on the physical release on a later date.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP launches to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 25.
