Metacritic shares worst games of the year

Review aggregator, Metacritic has shared the worst games of the year. Frankly, it’s about the list you’d expect.

The list found on the site includes only games with four or more reviews from professional critics, meaning typical slop thrown together for a quick buck is out of the question. If multiple versions of said game qualify, Metacritic took the lowest scoring version.

In order from the lowest scoring to the highest (within the worst category), Metacritic lists:

  1. Utopia City (23 – PC)
  2. Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat (41 – Mobile)
  3. HappyFunland (43 – PSVR2)
  4. Food Truck Simulator (Xbox – 43)
  5. Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash (44 – PS5)
  6. Stranger Things VR (44 – Meta Quest)
  7. Transformers: Galactic Trials (45 – PS5)
  8. PO’ed: Definitive Edition (46 – PC)
  9. Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports (47 – PS5)
  10. Metal Slug Attack Reloaded (48 – Nintendo Switch)

Right now, Metacritic hasn’t inked a best of the year list, but if we had to guess, it will probably be out sometime by the end of the week.
