Digital Eclipse recently updated Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection with a new patch. It doesn’t just improve performance for multiple games, but also adds the new online Room Codes, expanded Krypt content, Difficulty settings in the Mortal Kombat console versions, and the option to max out koins in the Gameboy Advance version of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. This isn’t the only support for the nostalgic Kollection of games, as the developers announced the new crossplay feature in the upcoming update.
“Krossplay” is confirmed to release for every gaming platform in spring 2026. This feature will suit well with the new Room Codes and Online Options, further enhancing online play for a more connected community.
The update also included multiple bug fixes in response to the issues acknowledged from fans themselves. The developers are currently pursuing to improve the collection’s overall experience by listening to community feedback through the official Discord. They will finalize more support for the Legacy Kollection in the future.
