Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion might be the next new character in MultiVersus

MultiVersus studio community manager, Ajax, has somewhat teased the potential of a new character. The concept of Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion jumping into the ring alongside the likes of Bugs Bunny, Steven Universe, and other famous Warner Bros. IPs somehow makes sense.

On Twitter, Ajax replied to an artist sharing their commissioned work of Scorpion in the style of MultiVersus. Now, this isn’t confirmed by any means, but we can’t really expect Warner Bros. to want to ignore its most powerful fighting IP and avoid including it into their Smash Bros.-esque brawler.

Re-released back in May, developer Player First Games has introduced a number of new characters planned for future updates, such as Agent Smith from The Matrix. Additionally, characters like iconic slasher, Jason Voorhees, and infamous Batman adversary, The Joker, have already been introduced to drum up some interactions.

MultiVersus is available now for free on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
