Multiversus Season 5 ends things off, game getting delisted

Warner Bros. is putting a stop to new Multiversus content after Season 5 and delisting the game in May. There is a silver lining, but only if you don’t wanna fight online.

Warner Bros. and/or Player First Games released a blog post and FAQ to explain the biggest things that players need to know. Season 5 starts on February 4 and ends May 30, real money purchases are no longer possible, and after Season 5 concludes, the online features disappear and the game will be delisted.

It's been an incredible ride, MVPs. Thank you for all the support. For more details, please visit our blog post https://t.co/tLVzpA9JaQ and FAQ https://t.co/XKuxAnd26j. pic.twitter.com/VLzBDbP0GQ

If you are an existing owner, you can still play the game offline, be it alone or with friends, but if your friends aren’t local, you’re outta luck. If you want to still access the game, though, you’ll need to update the game and log in during Season 5.

Also, no, players will not be refunded for Gleamium or purchased content. Oh, but in lighter news, Season 5 brings two new characters — Aquaman and Lola Bunny to the ring.
