The roster for Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO just expanded thanks to new character reveals courtesy of the latest trailer released by publisher Bandai Namco.
The trailer focused on the Buu Saga, a fan favorite from the long-running anime/manga series. Various iconic and niche characters were revealed while still leaving many spots open for more characters to join the massive cast.
New characters included are as follows:
- Great Saiyaman
- Gohan (Adult), Super Saiyan
- Babidi
- Majin Buu (Evil)
- Super Buu
- Ultimate Gohan
- Super Buu (Gotenks Absorbed)
- Super Buu (Gohan Absorbed)
- Kid Buu
In addition to these new additions, iconic Buu Saga characters such as Majin Vegeta, Majin Buu, and Super Saiyan 3 Goku were already announced as well as niche characters such as Spopovich and Dabura.
The trailer also included spectacular visuals, action-packed gameplay, and iconic music and scenes from the famous anime.
Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO is the fourth entry in the Dragon Ball: Budokai Tenkaichi series which saw its last major release, Tenkaichi 3, was released in 2007. Sparking! ZERO was originally titled Budokai Tenkaichi 4 but has since changed to Sparking! ZERO.
Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO releases on October 11, 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam.
