New Sonic mobile game, Sonic Rumble, will be “similar to Fall Guys”

It seems Sega is looking at its poster child, Sonic the Hedgehog, to have a new mobile game. Billed as “similar to Fall Guys,” Sonic Rumble is still just a rumor right now.

Well-known Sega and Atlus insider Midori shared a lot on Twitter, stating that the Blue Blur’s parent registered sonicrumble.com. Looking at it, Smash Jump noticed  the same technical contact group is listed between the newly registered domain and Sega’s own website. If that wasn’t enough, either, Sonic Rumble has pages on Sega’s website, though, currently, they’re unavailable.

Midori doesn’t have a concrete answer of when we might get word from Sega about this project, but we suspect it won’t be too long of a wait. They do say it will be “soon.” It will be interesting to see how Sonic translates into a Fall Guys like setting on mobile devices and whether or it will pop up on a device like the Switch or if it’s purely going to be on mobile phones.
