New Xbox Developer Direct announced for late January

Xbox is poised to kick off this year — hopefully — strong with a new Developer Direct slated for later this month. The showcase will mostly serve for a showcase of first-party offerings, but will also feature Game Freak’s upcoming multiplatform AAA action RPG.

Per Xbox Wire, the Developer Direct will show off Fable and Forza Horizon 6, both of which are developed by Playground Games. The latter will offer our first in-depth look at the fantasy RPG. Meanwhile, we can also expect a look at the anticipated racer, with a first-look at its gameplay. As for Beast of Reincarnation, Game Freak’s contribution to the Developer Direct, we can expect a first-look at its gameplay.

The Developer Direct will kick off on January 22 at 10 AM PST/1 PM EST.
