Nintendo prepares to cut Mario Kart Tour after 7 years of support

Mario Kart Tour has recently announced its upcoming end of service. The mobile racing game will have its online servers terminated on September 29, 2026, at 11:00 PM.

It’s also confirmed that the sales of rubies and Gold Pass subscriptions have also ended, including automatic renewals. Anyone with existing rubies or a Gold Pass subscription before the termination notice can still use their value and benefits until the final day.

  • Gold Gift
  • Gold Challenge
  • 200cc Open
  • Double the daily limit on base points and coins
  • Double the amount of multiplayer gauge gain
  • Maximum access to S+9 multiplayer rank

Players who aren’t subscribed to Gold Pass before the termination notice can also use its benefits for free during the Vacation Tour on August 5, 2026, at 3 PM JST (11 PM PST) until the end of service. At the moment, Nintendo hasn’t confirmed any plans for an offline version, but will keep the community updated for any remaining support before the game’s closure.
