Offline Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp launches in December

After announcing the closure of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Nintendo assured people there would be an alternative and sure enough, that alternative is drawing near.

Priced at $9.99 until January 31, after that it will jump to $19.99, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will feature all the content from Pocket Camp with none of the icky stuff associated to microtransactions. Luckily, Nintendo’s got your back with an overview on YouTube.

The nice thing about Pocket Camp Complete is it even adds stuff to make the game feel just a little more fresh, like Camper Cards, which are used for trading, collecting, and even visits from other players. Complete Tickets are also added, which can be exchanged for limited edition items and fortune cookies.

Existing players are even able to transfer their saves until June 2, 2025. It does also have benefits to staying connected to the internet, specifically for timed events and downloading data, but it is playable offline.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete releases to Android and iOS on December 3.
