It’s almost time to build a brand-new zoo! Planet Zoo is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 26.

Planet Zoo is a BAFTA-nominated management simulator released on PC almost four years ago. Planet Zoo: Console Edition will launch fully up-to-date with all of the post-launch free updates of the PC release. As revealed by the Planet Zoo website, the game features four different game modes — career, franchise, challenge, and sandbox.

Pre-orders are currently live and will gain you access to three exclusive animals — the Pygmy Hippopotamus, Komodo Dragon, and Thompson’s Gazelle.

There will also be a few release editions for Planet Zoo. These include the standard base game, the Deluxe Edition, and the Ultimate Edition. With the Deluxe Edition, you will gain access to 16 additional species and two extra campaign scenarios.

The Ultimate Edition will come with the contents of the Deluxe Edition along with a season pass. This means the Ultimate Edition will gain access to 81 new species, 15 campaign scenarios, and over 2,000 set pieces. It is important to note that as the season passes, the content will not all be available at launch.

Time to get your Steve Irwin hat on and take care of those beauties!
