PlayStation fans can join PlayStation development with new Playerbase contest

PlayStation recently introduced Playerbase, a new program that will incorporate fans into PlayStation Studios’ gaming IPs. Registration is currently only available in Europe, the Americas, South Africa, Asia, and Australia.

After multiple rounds, The Playerbase will select a suitable PlayStation fan from a group of contestants. Gran Turismo 7 is the first PlayStation Studios game currently eligible for Playerbase, along with two other unannounced games. The fan that wins will get scanned into the game, and also choose a custom Fantasy logo and unique vehicle livery.

It’s required for the fan who wins to travel to PlayStation Studios in person, which is why the company will provide coverage for the selected fan’s flight and other travel necessities. PlayStation will announce the chosen fan for Playerbase in summer 2026.
