Pokemon Legends: Z-A reveals new Mega evolution and extra quest

in News

December 6, 2025

Pokémon Legends Z-A has previously revealed a few Pokémon found exclusively in the new Mega Dimension expansion. Game Freak confirmed Mega Lucario Z as the last new Pokémon, which also introduces the new Z Mega Evolution.

The trailer shows off how well Mega Lucario Z fares compared to other Pokémon like Mega Lucario. While it excels more at defense, speed, and flexibility, its power isn’t greater than Mega Lucario’s. The best benefit for Z Mega Evolved Pokémon is having reduced move cooldown for faster commands, though its Mega Power gauge lasts much shorter than Mega Evolved Pokémon.

Game Freak has also confirmed another new quest that relates to Mewtwo. A Mewtwonite X stone and a Mewtwonite Y stone are being offered through the Mystery Gift feature for Mega evolving the classic legendary into Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Mewtwo Y. He’s available for capture during his unique mission after completing the main story.
