Dead Island 2 developer Dambuster Studios has confirmed that its zombie survival game will support the PS5 Pro enhancements. Its among the many third-party games that have plans to use the enhancements that Sony promises the PS5 Pro will introduce.

On Twitter, Game Pitt owner, Rob Pitt, pointed out that the PlayStation page includes the enhancements notice. When asking what said enhancements are, the official Dead Island account responded, saying more info will come out “soon.”

We will share more info about it soon!

Currently, it’s been a pretty busy week for Dambuster, what with the release of Dead Island 2’s Ultimate Edition, as well as Patch 6, which introduces new modes like Neighborhood Watch and a new game+ option. Considering the game already runs at a targeted 4K at 60fps on the base PS5, according to GamingBolt, we can only assume it plans on making that targeted resolution even higher, perhaps closer to 1440p thanks to the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution.
