S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl requires a lot of free storage

Be prepared to free up a ton of space for GSC Game World’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl as this survival horror takes up over 100GB. Oh yeah, and its pre-load is available.

As pointed out by Pure Xbox, the game’s file size looks to be pretty massive, clocking in at 147.6GB, which puts it among the largest file sizes on Xbox. That said, if you’re a Game Pass subscriber, you’ll be able to pick this title up free of charge and if space is an issue, you could always deal with Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Frankly, the immense file size isn’t too shocking, game file sizes have been ballooning lately, so as long as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl warrants it, it’s fine.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl releases November 20 on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
