Satisfactory leaves Early Access this year

Five years after entering Early Access on the Epic Games Store and four years since launch on Steam’s Early Access, Coffee Stain Studios’ Satisfactory is heading for a full launch this year. The factory management sim sits at an Overwhelmingly Positive score on Steam.

Revealed on a Steam post, the team plans on adding, altering, and removing some resource nodes to enable players “new possibilities to tangle the most beautiful conveyor belt spaghetti.” Meanwhile, recipe prices have been altered to foster a smoother transition between tiers and phases. Naturally, 1.0 will introduce new content, as well.

Coffee Stain has confirmed Satisfactory will also update to Unreal Engine 5.3, meaning the game will be more optimized and introduce features such as DLSS/FSR. Foliage won’t be destroyed by vehicles passing through, which will likely help with the optimization of the game. More updates about the full release are inbound.

Satisfactory 1.0 launches to PC on September 10.ย
