Sega recently announced that Sonic is going gold by forming a partnership with the Olympics. The International Olympic Committee has renewed the license for its upcoming project, the โFive Rings.โ
Segaโs post has revealed the new artwork for the game, which includes Sonic and a few of his closest companions with Olympic rings. This opportunity also lets fans immerse themselves in the revived franchise through new merchandise and other content. The work of the collaboration is set to launch in 2026. Both Sega and IOC are very positive about the partnership, including the president of Sega, Shuji Utsumi.
