Sega is preparing new plans for Sonic to step into the next level during his 35th anniversary celebration

The year of 2026 marks the 35th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog’s debut in the video game market. The trailer reveals the different adventures and evolutions for Sega’s most popular icon, hyping up fans for the “next level.”

The Sega website reminisces about Sonic and his high speeds in the entertainment industry for multiple generations. After thanking the community, the developers promise to honor his extensive achievements and “relive the excitement of Sonic’s legacy” this year.
