Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to launch on past-gen consoles in September

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was revealed to be heading to the PS4 and Xbox One last year, but no release date led some questioning. Now, it’s dated for a release next month.

On Twitter, the official EA Star Wars account revealed its date of September 17, a year after the game’s release on modern consoles and PC. Outside of its PC version, the game was received rather well, a much needed win for a company like EA, which is rife with hit-or-miss games.

Additionally, the much-maligned PC version will also receive some updates after its release on the past-gen platforms. Alongside general quality-of-life improvements, Respawn promises the update will improve “technical performance, controls, and more.”

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with its PS4 and Xbox One versions releasing on September 17.
