Star Wars Outlaws’ space area is “full of things to do”

Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws is going to have plenty to do it appears, with many of the planets and moons holding different points of interest.

During an interview with Game Informer, creative director Julian Gerighty spoke about the types of things that will make the game interesting as an open world space game, especially as Outlaws will feature seamless traversal between planets and space. Apparently, they will be populated with “lots of different things” as Massive Entertainment didn’t want to make an “endless space.”

“Every planet, we wanted to have an orbit around it with lots of different points of interest, things to do, battles to get in, places to explore. So the orbits for each one of the planets or moons that we created had to be populated with lots of different things. And we didn’t want to create endless space, so you hyperdrive from orbit of a planet to an orbit of a planet. So all of the space areas we have are full of things to do.”

Star Wars Outlaws had previously been in the news for some not-so-great reasons surrounding its physical editions requiring an internet connection to install the game, making the disc basically useless.

We can step into Kay’s ship once the game launches on August 30 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
