Stellar Blade PC port may be on the way

in News

Recent job listings from Shift Up may be trying to tell us something. Now job listings often times have many detailed descriptions in them and does not necessarily mean much when looking at the bigger picture. However, some are of the belief that some of the job listings posted on Shift Up’s jobs page, could be leading to PC port for Stellar Blade in the future.

This certainly would be good news for anyone that has been wanting to play the game, but doesn’t have a PlayStation, given the game has been exclusive to that platform since its release back on April 26th. Insider Gaming reports that one of the listings “calls for a Combat Designer” and that the descriptions ask for specific PC skills. Which is interesting considering the rumors that this game is being discussed for a PC port.

One can draw conclusions from the job descriptions and listings that have been posted. It also is helpful to look at what the game has done thus far, which if we look at the strong sales the game appeared to have after launch could help the case for an eventual port. In this age of publishers attempting to capitalize on every opportunity to sell their games as possible, porting to other platforms could make a lot of sense.

Nothing has been confirmed. Even Shift Up’s CEO Kim Hyung-Tae said previously that “we cannot comment” on a Stellar Blade PC port and it seems that still nothing can be announced. So, here’s hoping that one day soon, the announcement comes out.

Until then, Stellar Blade is available on PS5.
