Nightdive Studios has previously brought back several games for modern platforms, like Shadowman Remastered, The Thing Remastered, and even System Shock 2 25th Anniversary Remaster. The developer’s currently remaking the original System Shock for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam.
The studio has announced several new features for the System Shock Remake, including exclusive Nintendo Switch console mechanics like gyro aiming and Joy-Con 2 mouse support. It will release both digitally and physically across available platforms at a later date.
