Nintendo is quickly preparing for the launch of Splatoon Raiders with a new crossover Splatfest in Splatoon 3. Participating in the event will finally provide a limited-time theme for Nintendo Switch Online.
Anyone can participate in the weekend-long event as one of three teams corresponding to the upcoming spinoff’s styles: Speed, Power, and Tactics. It’s currently in its sneak peek phase, letting any curious inkling apply for early team contributions before the Splatoon Raiders Collab Splatfest officially starts from July 10, 2026 at 9:00 am PDT to July 12, 2026 at 5:00 pm. Participating during the active event will complete the distinct Nintendo Switch Online application mission, giving profile icon elements and the option to change the application’s theme at a later date.
The Nintendo Switch Online Application also features a unique mechanic for spraying ink across the screen. Fully inking the screen will present a unique artwork that relates to the colored ink. There seems to be a lot more planned for the series, especially what could come after the Splatoon spinoff.
