Team Ninja reveals more about the difficulty and settings in Ninja Gaiden 4. The game introduces Hero mode, the easiest mode for anyone new to intense action games. It includes features to simplify the fast-paced battles, like auto-evade, auto-guard, and auto-heal. The settings are also toggleable to make custom experiences.
Players are allowed to change difficulty at any time between Hero and Hard mode. The only mode that locks the difficulty throughout the playthrough is Master Ninja. The hardest mode disables any free items from Tyran while enabling the most aggressive hostility from enemies. Completing the most difficult mode will reward the player with the exclusive badge of honor in-game.
Since the game stays faithful to the seriesโ difficulty, it introduces a training mode. This option allows anyone to practice combos or reenact scenarios to improve player reaction and decision-making.
Team Ninja Studios has previously provided gameplay for the new main ninja’s combat capabilities and ninja acrobatics. There’s even the previous Xbox Developer Direct to gain developer insight about the game’s design and behind-the-scenes info.
