The new Killer Bean game prepares for its early access launch

Killer Bean is an upcoming action game made by Killer Bean Studios, the creators of the Killer Bean Forever movie. It’s announced to release in early access through Steam on June 8, 2026, expanding Killer Bean’s journey to exact revenge against the Shadow Agency who used him.

The Killer Bean game faithfully portrays the immersive experience of Killer Bean, an assassin coffee bean. The early access version gives full access to the single player campaign, which includes procedurally generated islands with four biomes, weaponry, vehicles, randomized weapon skills, and lots of ragdoll physics. Killer Bean will face many waves of enemies using mechs and aircraft from certain factions, including Mercenaries, Pirate Commandos, Bad Beans, and Shadow Troops. Eight well-trained bosses and mini-bosses in total will attempt to protect the Shadow Agency from the rogue assassin coffee bean at any cost.

There are other content modes available that centralize more satisfying action as a coffee bean assassin. Killer Bean can test his physical capabilities and acrobatic moves by challenging endless waves of enemies during Battle Arena or dominating Mercenary territory with the Bad Beans in Conquest. The most immersive extra mode is The Party, which lets the cranky assassin dispose of any partying gang member who ruins his sleep.

The game is estimated to remain in early access for a year, giving the developers enough time to produce new in-game content, including co-op game modes, language localization, character customization, bosses, and missions. Every major update will be released every two months, refreshing the game with new content, including Jet Bean as a playable character.

The early access version will currently launch at $14.99 before certain updates add more content, raising its price later on. The developers will keep the community updated about the upcoming support within the game’s early access lifespan.
