The Wolf Among Us 2 has not been canceled, dev confirms

Developer Telltale Games has confirmed that The Wolf Among Us 2 isn’t canceled. This comes after rumors came forward that the studio was forced to cease development.

In a statement to Eurogamer, Telltale touched on the rumor despite not usually interacting with such claims. The rep says that development is continuing and is excited to share more when the time is right.

The Wolf Among Us 2 was originally revealed to be in development all the way back in 2017, but things took a turn for the worst for the dev, leading to it shutting down for a brief period of time before it was revived under new management and the game was re-announced.

Initially, it was poised for a 2023 release before it was delayed to give ample time for the studio to shift engines (via IGN). Unfortunately, though, the studio has been pretty quiet about sequel, leading to rumors like these making more sense than they should.
