A new press release from developer Fool’s Theory, following a tweet on X, has revealed that The Thaumaturge has been delayed. Citing that the previous release date was not the proper time for release, Considering the games are releasing at the end of February, this doesn’t come as a surprise. Polishing of the game will also be done in the meantime before release, though the developer is certain to note that the game is complete.
The Thaumaturge is an alternative historical isometric RPG. Set in 1905 in Warsaw, The Thaumaturge touches upon the annexation of Poland by Russia. With a supernatural aspect sprinkled in.
The developer of The Thaumaturge, Fool’s Theory, is made up of industry veterans. Previously, members of the team worked on games such as Baldur’s Gate 3, Divinity Original Sin 2, and Outriders. With a proven track record of success, The Thaumaturge looks set to be a sleeper hit.
Explore the supernatural wonders of Warsaw when The Thaumaturge releases on March 4 for PC. There will also be a console release at an ungiven time.
