Invincible VS previously revealed a lineup of new characters coming into the game. Universa and Immortal are the first DLC characters starting off the game’s first season on June 30, 2026.
Universa showcased her complex fighting style during her trailer, utilizing her unique staff for disjointed attacks and electric projectiles. Her main mechanic lets her siphon boost gauge from her opponent, taking away their ability to enhance attacks. Once she drains enough boost, she can achieve max mode, opening up chances for her to unleash devastating boosted attacks.
Following the empowered alien is the original Guardian of the Globe, The Immortal. As his name suggests, he can revive himself during battle by accumulating enough super meters before death. His stats will enhance not just from his wrathful revival, but also during his install super move, making him dangerous when building super meter.
After season one ends, Invincible VS will continue receiving new content until 2027. Season Two and Season Three will each introduce one new character, mode, quality of life updates, and costumes, such as Abraham Lincoln. The developers plan to confirm their plans and updates to the community in the near future.
