A new survival horror game — Puppet House — is heading out the development door this year by Polish game studios VeCube Studio and Spirit Games Studio. The game is published by Gaming Factory, which is coming off of releases like Electrician Simulator, so it’s quite a stark change of pace we’re sure.
You take the role of Field Town resident Rick Evans, a photographer with a love for haunted places, seeking answers to the mysterious mansion once-owned by Peter Hill, a famous deceased ventriloquist. You can expect to solve puzzles and uncover secrets at every turn, as well as lore scattered throughout the mansion, enlightening us on what happened to him.
Based on the recent teaser trailer, it seems you at least won’t be entirely defenseless as a firearm may be by your side at some point in the game, but we can’t really tell how useful it will be.
Puppet House promises a terrifying story, hidden riddles and puzzles, a chilling atmosphere, and climatic visuals. We don’t have a definitive release date, but it does promise to release sometime this year to PC, Xbox, and PS5.
