Arc Raiders already have movie and TV adaptation offers rolling in

To say Embark Studios’ Arc Raiders is a success would be somewhat of an understatement, being one of those rare games to be part of the GOTY line up last year while being a multiplayer live service IP. But, of course, it’s already had plenty of movie and TV execs to try and snag it to adapt it into a TV show or movie.

Speaking with GamesBeat, studio boss Patrick Söderlund expressed that he has been tempted, as he believes adapting the game would be fun, but it has to be done right He stops short of explaining further.

“We [wouldn’t] mind doing that. It would be fun, but it needs to be done in the right way. I hope that we will do that. I think the IP fits quite well with something like that.”

Hope isn’t lost, though, as he does stress it doesn’t have any sort of writing team for a movie or TV adaptation yet.
