BioShock film still doesn’t have a complete script

Three years on and the Netflix-backed BioShock film still remains without a complete script, with its director held up elsewhere, meaning we’ll probably not see anything about for some time.

As confirmed by producer Roy Lee, who spoke with TheDirect, not only is the film’s script incomplete, but the director, Francis Lawrence, is busy right now with other projects. He did, however, confirm the flick will be based on the first game and that it will be a priority project for its director once work on The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is done and dusted.

The BioShock film has been in a rough spot for some time with very little about the film known, which makes sense as the script isn’t done. That said, with confirmation that it will be based on the first game, we can potentially piece together a rough story.
