Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle breaks Japanese box office records

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle is continuing to break box office records in Japan as the film surpasses ยฅ17 million yen, cementing itself as among the highest-grossing films in Japan.

As noted by Collider, the film, which is only around its third week, is going really strong and showing no signs of slowing down. With the film’s success in its home country, alongside the success of previous Demon Slayer films, such as Mugen Train, which ended with half a billion worldwide, it’s all-too-likely Infinity Castle will see a similar success.

It’s also important to note, it’s not a surprise that Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is doing numbers, after all, this will be the final bout of Tanjirou and Nezuko content we’re likely to get, with the series capping itself off with three feature films. The current one in theaters being the first of three, with the other two not even having release dates yet.
