God of War show names new showrunner

With original showrunner Rafe Judkins and executive producers Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus departing the God of War TV show over at Prime Video, a new showrunner has been found.

Deadline reports Sony found its new showrunner in Ronald D. Moore, who has also been tapped to write and executive produce the game series adaptation. In recent years, he has worked on ongoing series such as Outlander and For All Mankind. Meanwhile digging into his past, he’s worked on Syfy’s Battlestar Galactica.

Unfortunately, with the new showrunner coming aboard, the series will be starting from scratch, but names like Herman Hulst, Cory Barlog, Yumi Yang, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Roy Lee will all continue to be involved in the project.
