Joker 2 is already going digital and Blu-Ray

One disastrous launch later and Warner Bros. is already privy to bring Joker: Folie À Deux to homes with Blu-Ray and digital options. The film was a strong case as to why test screenings exist and are so important for big budget films.

As reported by IGN, the flick will be available to rent Prime Video, Apple TV, and other rental outlets starting on October 29. Blu-Ray and DVD versions won’t be out until December 17. As a bonus, the physical copies of the film will include various bonus features.

  • Everything Must Go (four-part longform documentary)
    • Can I Have A Cigarette?
    • Finding Lee
    • A Hundred Films In One
    • King of Nothing
  • The Character Of Music
  • Live! With The Joker
  • Colors Of Madness
  • Crafted With Class

It’s not too surprising that the supervillain flick is swiftly going beyond theaters, as many other box office bombs have quickly shifted gears to home release, likely hoping more people will find value in a physical copy rather than heading to the theaters — this film cost $200 million, after all.
