The fourth entry of Tom Holland’s outing as Spider-Man now has a name ahead of its summertime filming. The film is dubbed Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Variety reports the news following director Destin Daniel Cretton announcing the production timeline at CinemaCon, with Holland away in preparation for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. That said, he still found time to send over a video sharing that Brand New Day is a “fresh start.”
Holland, who is often bad at keeping closely guarded MCU secrets restrained himself, noting that’s all he was allowed to say.
“I am so sorry I can’t be with you. I am halfway around the world shooting a movie. I know we left you with a massive clip hanger at the end of ‘No Way Home,’ so ‘Spider Man: Brand New Day’ is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That’s all I can say.
That’s all I’ve been allowed to say. And I’m well over the hump of giving away spoilers, so don’t be worried. I’m not going to do that today.”
Naturally, this news is hyping up the film as it plans to start filming during summer and release next year, acting a fourth entry to the beloved web-slinger portrayed by Holland.
Casting has yet to be confirmed, but many suspect Zendaya and Jacob Batalon will return to their respected roles.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is poised to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
