Upcoming Soulslike is now a PlayStation console exclusive due to communication problems

Enotria: The Last Song has had a rocky development when it comes to its release platforms, and it appears the developers have run into another bump in the road.

Back in March of this year, it was reported that Enotria had suspended its release on Xbox platforms to ensure the PC and PlayStation versions had the best experience possible. Then the game was delayed so it could release on Xbox at the same time as PC and PlayStation. Now, according to an X post, the game will be indefinitely delayed on Xbox.ย

We believe that Xbox is blessed with a huge gaming community and we would love to release Enotria on your platform as fast as possible, as we spent a lot of money and resources to make it happen, but this task is nearly impossible with Microsoft taking months to reply to us whenโ€ฆ

The official announcement on the developers website cites challenges, which were delved more into in another X posting. It appears that the major challenges are caused by a lack of response from Microsoft. It appears that for the game to release on Xbox at the given moment, it would have had to be delayed again until Microsoft was willing to properly communicate with developer Jyamma Games.

Hopefully some resolution can be found in this situation, and Xbox players will have the chance to play this intriguing-looking game. For now, Enotria: The Last Song will remain a PlayStation console exclusive.
