Marvel Rivals gains a new mutant character and is releasing in December

A new character has joined the roster of Marvel Rivals, and with her announcement also came a release date for the game. Psylocke is ready to take on the rest of the Marvel multiverse when Marvel Rivals launches on December 6. 

A new YouTube trailer on the official channel revealed the character and release date for the game. Psylocke was previously hinted at in a trailer released to unveil the Spider-Islands map with her signature pink butterfly.

Another character was teased at the end of this trailer and may join the game for its launch. Moon Knight looks to be the next character to be fully revealed based on the teaser given, much like Psylocke was teased last.

Marvel Rivals will be released as a free-to-play title with cosmetic microtransactions. Interestingly, all characters will be unlocked at launch, and all heroes will continue to be released as free updates. 

Marvel Rivals will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Marvel Rivals will be released December 6.
