Mass Effect 5 director teases return of popular feature

Mass Effect 5 director, Michael Gamble, has seemingly teased the return of the Paragon and Renegade system after leaving it behind in ME3. He also addressed that most people opted for the Paragon route.

In a series of posts on Twitter (spotted by Comicbook), Gamble mentioned the option, stating it wasn’t about what was more popular, but rather that you got to choose. This response does read a bit like protecting an idea that may be fed into the new game.

Regarding renegade and paragon-
Yes, itโ€™s true that more people played paragon. But, it would have been meaningless if renegade had not existed. The ability to choose is stronger than the number of people playing any option, IMO.

At this stage, we know basically nothing about ME5, while this could change in the coming year, considering the studio has released Dragon Age: The Veilguard, meaning likely the studio has shifted gears to the next Mass Effect, we wouldn’t hold our breath, either.
