Doug Bowser worked as president of Nintendo of America for over six years during the Nintendo Switch era. He recently announced his retirement slated for December 31, 2025, bidding farewell to coworkers and even former executives like Reggie Fils-Aimé.
The former Nintendo of America president replied to Bowser’s leave, praising his support for Nintendo while welcoming the new Nintendo of America president, Devon Pritchard. Reggie has known her throughout her career, since they both took executive positions in the same year. While Reggie retired from the president position in his later years, Pritchard continued running as Nintendo of America’s vice president of revenue, marketing and consumer experience, letting her rack up approximately two decades of experience as an executive officer for both Nintendo of America and the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue.
Along with the company’s new president is the new CEO, Satoru Shibata, who previously worked in the Asia and Oceania Business Division. This new shift in leadership may prove beneficial for Nintendo’s new console in its upcoming new year.
