Xbox took time with Team Ninja and PlatinumGames to explore its content, including the ninja protagonists and story. During the Deep Dive, the dev also confirmed future support for the game.
The podcast revealed Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters, an expansive DLC that will widen the scope of the base game’s story. The DLC will also expand the gameplay with new weapons, ninja moves, post-game challenges, and more. It’s scheduled to release in early 2026.
Ninja Gaiden 4 will launch with two versions: Standard and Deluxe. The standard edition is just the base game; the deluxe edition will include the base game, extra in-game items, 50,000 ninja coins, Traditional Dark Blue and Legendary Black Falcon costumes for Ryu, Blade of the Archfiend Ryu Weapon Skin, Divine Chimera and Raven Master costumes for Yakumo, Divine Chimera Yakumo Weapon Set, and The Two Masters DLC. Preordering the game will reward players with a bonus Dark Dragon Descendant skin for Yakumo.
The game will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam on October 21, 2025.
