Resident Evil 9 Requiem was previously released with substantial success across multiple gaming platforms. There’s still plenty of room for the latest Resident Evil entry to grow, which is why Capcom is distributing a free demo for anyone to try.
The Resident Evil 9 Requiem demo is currently available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Epic Games Store, and Steam. It’s the best chance to test the latest horrifying gameplay through traditional or modern standards. The demo doesn’t include save data transfer or a bonus for the full game, so it’s primarily designed to familiarize you with the controls rather than give you a head start.
Capcom is continuing to support the latest Resident Evil with new updates, like Leon Must Die mode and photo mode. There’s also the confirmed story expansion, which the developers plan to reveal publicly closer to its official launch.
