Marvel drops second Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer

New York’s wall-crawler just got a new trailer drop for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, coming to theaters at the end of July.

The movie’s first official trailer dropped three months ago in March, showing how Peter Parker copes with being the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, after the world forgot who he is. Sony and Marvel have brought fans a deeper look into the upcoming cinematic installment to Tom Holland’s MCU lineup. Highlights include additional looks into Peter’s growing spider-based powers and how this post-No Way Home world speculates on Spidey’s secret identity (from their POV). More scenes showcase Peter’s interactions with Frank Castle, “The Punisher,” and Mark Ruffalo’s Dr. Bruce Banner, with the trailer dropping the latter’s hulking return… and seemingly not just of the green man’s Professor form. Oh yeah, and more fight scenes feature Peter’s battle with The Scorpion towards the beginning of the trailer.

Additional hype for the movie’s theatrical release has been recently fueled by Insomniac Games announcing Peter’s “Fresh Start” suit heading over to their video game three days before Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits the big screen. Needless to say, even their social media posts feature the movie’s new official trailer front and center.

And while not directly related to Tom Holland’s MCU Spider-Man, Sony/Amazon’s Spider-Noir series starring Nicholas Cage premiered three weeks ago on May 27.

Could this really be Tom Holland’s last time donning the Spidey suit (at least in his solo MCU films)? How will Ned and MJ be affected while no longer remembering Peter Parker? Fans are roughly 1 1/2 months away from finding out the answers to these and more burning questions over the fourth MCU Spider-Man film.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on Friday, July 31, 2026.
