Bandai Namco recently teased Tekken! Cartoon, a new Tekken animation. This new project is mainly designed with chibi-like characters being more over-the-top than usual.
The teaser trailer featured a small group of well-known characters: Kuma, Yoshimitsu, Alisa, Paul, and Kazuya. Each fighter showed off their series’ staple techniques in the overexaggerated, expressive animation, such as Alisa kicking her head like a soccer ball.
Tekken! Cartoon’s cover art is designed very similarly to Tekken 8, implying its characters will be represented as their latest Tekken game appearances. Jin wasn’t shown in the animation, but was confirmed on the cartoon’s case. Bandai Namco will delve more into its upcoming Tekken series sometime later, including where it could be streamed and if there’s a physical release.
