Mortal Kombat will get a little more peaceful when Peacemaker arrives this week

It’s almost time for peace in the Mortal Kombat world. Peacemaker will be released on February 28.

The famed DC character and TV star joins the ever-expanding roster of Mortal Kombat 1. Equipped with his signature helment and best friend, Eagly, Peacemaker is set to be an interesting new fighter. Hosting a moveset with ranged moves allowing zoning and close range combos, Peacemaker has a little bit for every player. He will be voiced by the renowned wrestler, John Cena, as he portrayed the character in DC’s The Suicide Squad and the Peacemaker TV series.ย This information comes from a recent trailer posted on the official Mortal Kombat YouTube account.

Sometime after Peacemaker, Janet Cage’s gameplay was also revealed. To celebrate the third of Krossplay’s DLC fighters, developer NetherRealm Studios announced that Krossplay would be releasing on February 28. Allowing players from any platform to play and interact with each other.

To tempt new players to try out Krossplay and Mortal Kombat 1, NetherRealm will be hosting a free trial weekend from March 7 to March 10. Players will be able to experience the first two chapters of story mode, play using the base roster of characters, try out all online and local multiplayer modes, and try out the invasion mode.

Get ready to spread the peace when Peacemaker joins the Mortal Kombat 1 roster on February 28.

More Smash Jump: It seems that live service games are taking hit after hit. Suicide Squad bombed and Skull and bones has less than 1 million players.
