When Hunt: Showdown was initially announced, many hoped for a traditional Western extraction shooter. Now, that hope finds an answer in A Twisted Path to Renown.

Announced by developer Game-Labs via its YouTube channel, A Twisted Path to Renown is set to launch on Steam Early Access on June 6. While the game is currently available for purchase through the developer’s website, its debut on Steam promises to introduce it to a brand-new audience.

Players can soon immerse themselves in a new Western extraction shooter boasting meticulous attention to detail, period-accurate weaponry, and an immersive setting in the year 1899. A Twisted Path to Renown challenges players to manage a plethora of survival elements, from hunger and thirst to rest and recovery. With an expansive crafting system, players can arm themselves with new weapons and food to confront the dangers of the frontier, including advanced AI and other players.

It promises to be an exciting journey to witness Game-Labs’ vision for the future of extraction shooters when A Twisted Path to Renown debuts on Steam Early Access on June 6.
